Wholesome Bakery started the way the best things often do — with a founder who couldn't find what she was looking for. Mandy wanted baked goods that were free of preservatives, gluten, dairy, and artificial flavors that didn't compromise on flavor.
I was thrilled by the opportunity to create Wholesome’s identity from scratch, and redefine what a ‘free-from’ brand could look like.
Wholesome’s identity is full of lively colors, quirky typography, and a self-assured, youthful brand voice.
Words like “vegan” and “gluten-free” can be polarizing ones. We wanted the opportunity to win over audiences regardless of their dietary preferences. So, wee made careful, considerate language choices across all brand touch points.
